Ligon earned his PhD from the University of Edinburgh. He and his wife, Anne, have two adult children.

Luke Simmons serves as founding and lead pastor of Ironwood Church in Mesa, Arizona, which has grown to a congregation of 2,400 over 18 years. With a background in multicongregational church planting, Luke now coaches and resources pastors through Faithful and Fruitful. He can be heard on the ‘King & Culture’ and ‘Preaching Through’ podcasts. Luke and his wife, Molly, live in Queen Creek with their four children.

Jamaal Williams is the lead pastor of Sojourn Church Midtown in Louisville, Kentucky, and president of Harbor Network, a church-planting network committed to launching and strengthening thriving churches. G. K. Beale is professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Dallas. He earned his PhD at the University of Cambridge. G. K. has had a long and distinguished academic career, teaching at Grove City College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Wheaton Graduate School, and Westminster Theological Seminary. Before joining the RTS Dallas faculty in 2021, he served as Westminster’s J. Gresham Machen chair and research professor of New Testament and biblical interpretation. He is a past president of the Evangelical Theological Society.

Benjamin L. Gladd serves on The Gospel Coalition’s staff as executive director of The Carson Center for Theological Renewal. He previously served for 12 years as professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Benjamin earned his PhD at Wheaton College. He has authored and edited numerous books, including ‘From Adam and Israel to the Church,’ ‘Handbook on the Gospels,’ and ‘The Story Retold’ (with G. K. Beale). He is also the coeditor of the New Studies in Biblical Theology and Pillar New Testament Commentary series with Don Carson. He and his wife, Nikki, have two sons.

Jen Wilkin is an author and Bible teacher from Dallas. She has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts.

Jonathan Broadbent is an engineering executive at a leading technology company, where he leads the development of mission-critical AI and software systems for governments and large corporate customers. He holds degrees from the U.S. Air Force Academy and New York University. Jonathan is a member of Del Ray Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia, where he completed the pastoral internship program. He and his wife have two children.

Before coming to TGC, he served for a decade and a half as a children’s minister and family pastor in local churches. Jared earned his ThM from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is editor for TGC’s Hard Questions series and author of books including ‘The Beginner’s Gospel Story Bible’ and ‘The Story of Martin Luther.’ He and his wife, Megan, live with their three daughters in Louisville, Kentucky, where they belong to Sojourn Church Midtown.

Courtney Doctor is the director of women’s initiatives for The Gospel Coalition and a cohost for the ‘Deep Dish’ podcast. She is a Bible teacher and author of ‘From Garden to Glory’ as well as several Bible studies, including ‘Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace,’ ‘In View of God’s Mercies,’ and ‘Behold and Believe.’ She earned her MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary. Courtney and her husband, Craig, have four children and five grandchildren.

Megan Hill is the managing editor for The Gospel Coalition. Her most recent books include ‘Sabbath Rest,’ ‘Ephesians: Life Together in Christ,’ and ‘Partners in the Gospel: Mentoring Edition.’ She is also the author of several other books. Megan lives in Massachusetts with her husband and four children, where they belong to West Springfield Covenant Community Church (PCA).

Melissa Kruger serves as vice president of discipleship programming at The Gospel Coalition and is the author of multiple books, including the children’s book ‘Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know.’ She also cohosts the ‘Deep Dish’ podcast, where she combines her love of pizza with her passion for meaningful conversation. Her husband, Mike, is the Samuel C. Patterson professor of New Testament and early Christianity at Reformed Theological Seminary, and together they have three adult children.

Trevin Wax is vice president of resources and marketing at the North American Mission Board and a visiting professor at Cedarville University. A former missionary to Romania, Trevin is a regular columnist at The Gospel Coalition and has contributed to ‘Mere Orthodoxy,’ ‘World,’ and ‘Christianity Today.’ He is the coauthor of ‘The Gospel Way Catechism’ and author of ‘The Thrill of Orthodoxy’ and ‘Rethink Your Self.’

Brent Corbin has served as executive director of Reformed Youth Ministries since 2022. He earned his MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte and spent over a decade with Reformed University Fellowship, serving as a campus minister at the University of Tulsa and later as an area coordinator in the South Central United States. Brent and his wife, Sarah, have four daughters.

Matt Howell is the senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. He earned his MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte and spent over a decade serving in campus ministry with Reformed University Fellowship at Appalachian State University and the University of Tennessee. He is the author of ‘In on the Joke: Savoring and Stewarding God’s Ridiculous Gift of Humor.’ Matt and his wife, Kathryn, have two children.

Mark Vroegop is the president of The Gospel Coalition. He served in pastoral ministry leadership for nearly 30 years, most recently as the lead pastor of College Park Church in Indianapolis. He earned his MDiv from Cornerstone Seminary. An award-winning author, Mark has written several books, including ‘Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Discovering the Grace of Lament’ and ‘Waiting Isn’t a Waste: The Surprising Comfort of Trusting God in the Uncertainties of Life.’ Mark is married to Sarah, and they have three married sons, a college-aged daughter, and five grandchildren. 

Wes Huff is the vice president for Apologetics Canada and has been a guest on some of the world’s largest public platforms. In public dialogues, debates, and interfaith events around the world, he advocates for the Christian faith as intellectually credible and existentially satisfying. Wes holds a BA in sociology from York University and an MTS from Tyndale University, and he’s currently doing a PhD in New Testament at the University of Toronto’s Wycliffe College.

Michael J. Kruger is the Samuel C. Patterson professor of New Testament and early Christianity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the author of several books and articles on early Christianity. He is one of the leading scholars today in the study of the origins of the New Testament. His latest book is ‘The Good News Family Devotional: 52 Weeks Through the Gospel of Mark.’

Rebecca McLaughlin holds a PhD from Cambridge University and a theology degree from Oak Hill Seminary in London. She is the author of several books, including ‘Confronting Christianity,’ ‘The Secular Creed,’ ‘Jesus Through the Eyes of Women,’ and ‘Does the Bible Affirm Same-Sex Relationships?’ 

Kevin DeYoung is the senior pastor at Christ Covenant Church (PCA) in Matthews, North Carolina, and associate professor of systematic theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. Justin Taylor is executive vice president and publisher for books at Crossway, where he has served for 20 years. He has a PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and also studied at Bethlehem College and Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary. He has edited numerous books, has served as the managing editor for the ‘ESV Study Bible,’ and is the coauthor of ‘The Final Days of Jesus.’ Justin and his wife have five children and live in Iowa.

Tom Gibbs is the sixth president of Covenant Theological Seminary. He writes and teaches on organizational leadership at the seminary. Previously, he served as the planter and senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in San Antonio. He has also served as a campus minister at Baylor University and a youth director in Birmingham, Alabama.  Tom has degrees from Auburn University (BChE) and Covenant Seminary (MDiv, DMin). He and his wife, Tara, have four children.

Rebekah Hannah is the president and CEO of Anchored Virtual, a biblically grounded, clinically informed counseling organization committed to making gospel-centered care accessible anytime, anywhere—while partnering with the local church. Rebekah also serves on staff at Redeemer Lincoln Square in New York City, and regularly speaks and writes on topics like biblical counseling, identity, and the integration of faith and family. Michael Keller has been part of Redeemer Presbyterian Church from its start, and now serves as senior pastor of Redeemer Lincoln Square. Michael serves as a Council member of The Gospel Coalition and fellow for The Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics. He earned an MDiv and ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Michael is the author of The Stories We Live By: How Jesus Critiques and Completes What Our Culture Tells Us and Talking to Kids About Hard Things: Honest Conversations When Life Gets Complicated. 

Autumn Ridenour is a professor and the author of ‘Sabbath Rest as Vocation: Aging Toward Death.’ Her recent research examines the influence of technology and digital devices on moral development, spirituality, and relationships. Autumn teaches theology and ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Andrew M. Davis is senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Durham, North Carolina; founder and teacher of Two Journeys Ministry; and the chairman of the Board of The Gospel Coalition. He is visiting professor of church history at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Andrew earned his PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His books include ‘How to Memorize Scripture for Life,’ ‘Revitalize: Biblical Keys to Helping Your Church Come Alive Again,’ and ‘An Infinite Journey: Growing Toward Christlikeness.’ He and his wife, Christi, have five children and four grandchildren.

Vanessa K. Hawkins serves as director of community life at Redeemer Lincoln Square in New York City. She’s a Bible teacher, conference speaker, podcaster, and intercultural development consultant. Vanessa is a fellow in the inaugural class of The Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics and the author of ‘The Roar of Justice: Hearing God’s Relentless Call in the Book of Amos.’ She earned her MDiv and her DMin in cultural apologetics and communication from Covenant Theological Seminary. Vanessa and her husband, Marcus, have three daughters. 

Garrett Kell serves as lead pastor of Del Ray Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia. He is the author of eight books, including ‘Pure in Heart: Sexual Sin and the Promises of God,’ and his writing has appeared at The Gospel Coalition, 9Marks, and Desiring God. He also cohosts ‘Counseling Talk,’ a podcast on biblical counseling and pastoral care. Garrett and his wife, Carrie, have seven children.

Ruth Chou Simons is a best-selling and award-winning author of several books and Bible studies. She is an artist, podcaster, and speaker, and the founder, CEO, and chief creative officer of GraceLaced, an art and lifestyle brand. Ruth and her husband, Troy, are parents to six boys.
