Market Guide

Market Booth

The TGC27 Market is a dedicated section of the Exhibit Hall where attendees will be able to purchase non-book items from our partners.

Market vendors should complete the Exhibitor application and note what items they would like to sell for TGC approval.

Please note that upon approval, you will be invoiced for your booth and the TGC Sellers Market Fee.

The Sellers Market Fee is based on booth size and includes storage space. There is a limited number of booths that have storage directly behind their display. These booths will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Any market vendors that apply after these booths are filled will receive storage in a separate and enclosed space near the Exhibit Hall in the convention center.

The Sellers Market Fee:

10’ x 10’ Booth - $750 Market Fee (includes 5’x10’ storage)

20’ x 10’ Booth - $1,500 Market Fee (includes 5’x20’ storage)

20’ x 20’ Booth - $1,750 Market Fee (includes 5’x20’ storage)

Rules & Regulations

Market Booths must abide by the TGC27 Exhibitor Guide.

A few reminders from the TGCW26 Exhibitor Guide:

  • Everything must be kept within the confines of your purchased booth space. Nothing may spill into the aisle and you may not reach over a neighboring booth to pass along merchandise or finish a sale. Please be sure to purchase a booth large enough for your needs.
  • All displays must be entirely contained within the exhibit booth dimensions, including tables, chairs, signs, etc. No item to be displayed may exceed the height of 4’ above the floor within 4’ of the booth’s frontside perimeter and no item may exceed the maximum height of 10’ above the floor for 10’ x 10’ and 20 x 10’ booths. 20’ x 20’ and larger booths may use their entire cubic content up to 10’ in height and may not exceed this height without written permission from TGC, including any hanging signs.

Additional Market Checklist

  1. Submit the list of items (with photos and/or links to the products) you would like to sell in your exhibitor application. *Items for sale are subject to approval by TGC. All items, including basic merchandise such as mugs, t-shirts, and stickers are not to be sold without written permission from TGC.
  2. Apply for a permit. As stated on the Booth Information Page of the ICC’s Website:
...Indiana Department of Revenue requires exhibitors selling goods (new or used) to register and submit a Business Tax Application for sales tax. All exhibitors selling products or tangible items are required to collect the Indiana state sales tax (currently 7%) and declare it to the IDOR. Presently, a $25.00 business registration fee applies. Please visit https://www.in.gov/dor/tax-forms/ to register and for additional information.
  3. Consider your point of sale system and payment options. (Apple Pay and Google Wallet are very quick and convenient options for attendees.)
  4. Order electricity for your point of sale system.
  5. [On-site] Order Wi-Fi for your point of sale system. The free Wi-Fi in the ICC is not sufficient for sales.
